The services provided by Sri Matha Trust includes free accommodation and food for the poor outpatients who take treatment at the hospital. The new name of the building from which Sri Matha Trust operates now is, Namma Dharmasala.
Poor patients coming from different parts of India are accommodated in the home along with an attender. The home provides good quality square vegetarian meals 3 times a day. Besides, tea and snacks are seved before Breakfast and in the evening. During festival times the patients are provided with new clothes. When the patients can’t afford to buy the medicines, the Trust gives them money for the medicines free of cost.
The children who lost their parents due to cancer, are taken care of by the Trust for their food and educational needs.

In Chennai, Mr.V.Krishnamoorthy runs a free Dharmasala with food and shelter since year 2000, which provides such care and support not only to patients, but also to the caretakers who accompany the patients.
Krishnamoorty treats every man and woman like his own children. At all times, he puts his best fooot forward to bring about improvement in the patient's care.
